Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist with a distinct style. Baker was born on April 22, 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into a family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents were missionaries and during his initial years Baker traveled extensively with his parents. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was laid off as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker moved to Denver together with his father and stayed in Denver for a while. Baker was bullied by the other children because of his lack of wealth. In sixth grade, he began listening to rap. Colson Kelly (also called Machine Gun Kelly) was born on April 22, 1990, in Houston, Texas. In his music, he is well-known for his mix of modern and alternative hip hop with rock. Before making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and the year 2010. This Cleveland rapper, who delivers his lyrics at the speed of a bullet-train, experienced an explosive climb towards the end of 2011 after switching between self-releasing mixtapes and signing with reputable labels. The fame of this Cleveland rapper skyrocketed after the release of his first mixtape late in 2011.
